No library can own all of the books, periodicals and other materials needed by its users. However, even small libraries like Livingston-Park County Public can provide access to unowned materials through interlibrary loan.
As a cardholder, you may make your request for an interlibrary loan at the circulation desk.
Please provide the following information: author, title, publisher and date. Citations for periodical articles should include the author and title of the article as well as the full title of the journal, the volume, date and inclusive pages. It is also helpful if you can provide the source of your information.
It usually takes about a week to fulfill an interlibrary loan request, but it may take much longer if the item requested is in high demand or very rare.
