Family Read Night – October 27, 2011     6:00-7:30 pm    pre-school-5th grade      Museum of the Rockies                                                                                                                                                                                                                           “Dinosaurs”                                                                       Bring our youngest patrons to Livingston-Park County Public Library, for a night of family fun! The youth educational director from Museum of the Rockies, will be here to share a variety of dinosaur fun: stories, games, artifacts, crafts, and snacks. Hope to see you there! Costumes are welcome!

October 16-22, 2011 is the fifth annual celebration of National Friends of Libraries week.  Please drop by and say a big THANK YOU to our local Friends of the Library (FOL).  We will be honoring them with a come-and-go reception on Tuesday October 18th, 4-6pm.  Through the years, the FOL has supported the Library in many ways, from funding programs, equipment, furniture, interns, etc. to raising almost two million dollars in private donations to expand the Library in 2005!  Help us show our appreciation to this amazing group for all they’ve done!

Don’t miss the Fall Book Sale sponsored by the Friends of the Library!  It begins Wednesday evening 5-8pm, for Friends members only.  (Memberships can be obtained at the door.)  Then the sale continues Thursday 10am-8pm, Friday 10am-6pm, and Saturday 10am-3pm.  Prices will be reduced on Saturday.
