Young Adult Book Discussion Group: Middle school and high school ages meet in the Teen Room, Friday, January 21, 4-5 PM. This month’s book, Dr. Franklin’s Island, is available for check out.

Family Read Night: Meet Addy, American Girl. Crafts and food from Addy’s books,  all ages welcome. Thursday, January 28, 6:30-7:30 PM.

A Guided Tour of Alagaesia

Meet bestselling author Christopher Paolini at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 12!  Christopher will give a short presentation on the creation of his latest book Eragon’s Guide to Alagaesia.

This enchanting book comes from the producers of Dragonology and features spectacular artwork that takes the reader on an illustrated tour of Eragon’s homeland.

Following his presentation, Christopher will answer audience questions and autograph books, which will be available for sale at the event.

December Children’s Programs

Saturday, December 5,  Santa’s Workshop, 1-4 PM: Parents may drop off their children, ages K-5th grades, for an hour of gift-making for their families. Refreshments will be served, as well.

Thursday, December 17th, After School Program, 3:45-5 PM: Jan Brett’s holiday stories, crafts & snacks for Grades K-5th.

Friday, December 18, Cookie Lovers’ Decorating Class, 4-5 PM for middle and high school ages. Pre-registration required, as space is limited to 15;  call 222-0862 or sign-up at the front desk.
