Flutes and Friends, a Bozeman Symphony ensemble, will perform at the Livingston-Park County Public Library on Sunday afternoon, May 2 at 3:00 PM.

The ensemble is composed of five professional flutists who perform on many instruments of the flute family, including the concert flute, piccolo, alto flute and bass flute. For certain pieces in their repertoire, the flutists are joined by musicians Jeff Vick and Alan Leech who add a wide range of accompanying instruments such as marimba, vibes, drums, saxophone and bassoon.

Flutes and Friends are part of the Bozeman Symphony’s Far Afield program, which is funded by the Montana Arts Council, Mountain Sky Guest Ranch, Montana Cultural Trust, Montana Association of Symphonic Orchestras and the Bozeman Symphony.

This free concert, which is brought to Livingston by Friends of the Livingston-Park County Library, will take place in the Bev Steveson Room on the lower level of the Library.
