Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees of the Livingston – Park County Public Library is composed of five appointed volunteers, who may each serve two consecutive five-year terms. Two trustees are appointed by the City Commission, two by the County Commissioners, and one at-large trustee is appointed by the four city and county trustees. The public library board is created by law to act as the citizen governing body of the library. Trustees are responsible for employing the library director, determining policies and purposes of the library, submitting an annual budget, securing adequate funds and working to ensure that the library is able to offer comprehensive and effective service to the community.

The Trustees meet on the third Thursday of each month at 4:00 PM at the library.
